An association is an organized group of people with a shared mission — in our case, preserving one of the world’s rarest horse breeds and the culture that surrounds it.

What we do as an Association:

  • Protect & Promote the Breed — safeguarding ChaarSuluu genetics, documenting bloodlines, and guiding responsible breeding.

  • Support Members — connecting horse lovers worldwide for learning, sharing, and friendship.

  • Act for Impact — funding on-the-ground conservation, herdsman wages, foal care, and cultural heritage projects.

  • Represent Internationally — sharing the Chaar Appaloosa story with the world and advocating for its preservation.

5% Cover the Fee

This fee covers your membership fee and all proceeds are given directly to the Chaar Association. An annual financial report will be provided to all members with an outline of our yearly expenses and the impact of our valuable donors!

Every day we work to preserve and develop the Chaar horse in Kyrgyzstan: feeding, veterinary care, daily work of the grooms, and maintenance of the ranch.

Our herd continues to grow, bringing greater responsibility — more care, resources, and long-term commitment.
