Summer on the high pasture: the 2024 foals meet the mountains

Every summer the herd leaves the valley and heads up to the high pastures of the Tien Shan. This year the 2024 foals went with them, their first time up there.

These photos came down from the Ters pasture a few days ago. The grass is thick and green and full of wildflowers, the lakes are still enough to hold the whole sky, and behind all of it the glaciers are still white, even in June.

We'll share more from the pasture as the summer goes on.

If you'd like to help bring the Chaar back, every piece of CHAAR merchandise you buy goes toward supporting the herd.

With all the best, Munarbek
